How cancellation works today
- Each venue writes its own cancellation text. Customers can read it before they request and again on the booking.
- A customer can cancel a booking. The venue applies its own cancellation text.
- A quote that expires frees the date. The customer can ask for a new quote in the same thread.
Refunds
- Structured cancellation tiers and automatic refund calculation are part of the launch plan. The wording here has to match what is built.
- Disputes go to a Venuvo admin for approval.
- OPEN: who pays a refund while customers pay sellers directly. To be drafted by a lawyer.
Fees on cancelled bookings
- OPEN: whether Venuvo keeps its fee on a cancelled or refunded booking.
Price display
- Consumer rules about showing prices including fees must be checked by a lawyer.
