Answers to the questions people ask most. Everything here is in English.
Finding a venue
How do I find a venue?
On the home page say what you are planning: the occasion, how many guests, the date and your budget. District is optional. You get venues that are free on that date, have a space big enough and a package within your budget.
Nothing fits. What now?
You will see one-tap suggestions: raise the budget, free the date or try any district. You can also browse every published venue in a district without filters.
Can I compare venues?
Yes. Tick two or three venues and press Compare to see price, capacity, whether the date is free and the facilities side by side.
Requesting and booking
Do I need an account?
Yes. You need an account to send a request or claim a booth. Signing up takes a minute and sends you back to where you were.
What happens after I send a request?
A booking thread opens with the venue. Everything about this booking happens in that thread. The venue gets an email and sees your request on its dashboard.
What is a quote?
The venue sends a quote card in the thread with line items, the total, the deposit and a valid-until time. By default a quote is valid for 72 hours, and the venue can extend it. The date is held for you while the quote is valid.
The venue sent a new quote. What happened to the old one?
A revised quote replaces the earlier one. The earlier card stays in the thread greyed out and the hold moves to the new valid-until time.
How do I pay?
Accept the live quote. The venue's bank details and a reference code are pinned in the thread. Pay by bank transfer, upload the receipt in the thread and press I have paid. Venuvo does not take your money.
When is my booking confirmed?
The booking is held after you accept. When the venue checks its own bank account and marks the deposit as received, the booking becomes confirmed and you get an email.
Can someone else help me plan?
Yes. Invite a co-planner by email or share link from the request or the thread. They become a second customer on the same booking and get every email.
How do I cancel?
Each venue writes its own cancellation text, and you can read it on the booking. The venue applies it. Contact the venue in the thread first.
My quote expired.
The date is released. Ask for a new quote in the same thread.
Booths and festivals
How do I claim a booth?
Open the event link, tap a free booth and press Claim. The booth is held for you for 30 minutes and the bank instructions appear. The organizer marks it as paid and the booth becomes booked with your name.
What if I am too slow?
When the 30 minutes end the hold expires and the booth is free for others again. You can release a hold yourself earlier.
Venues and vendors
How do I get started as a venue or vendor?
Create an organization, then follow the Onboarding tab. It lists what is still missing: profile, packages, bank details, cancellation text and more. Each step is ticked from what you saved.
What is the verified badge?
Owners and managers can upload business documents and ask for a review. If a Venuvo admin approves them, the public page shows a Verified badge. Your documents stay private.
Can I import my price list?
Yes, from a CSV file on the Onboarding tab. You see a preview first and nothing is saved until you confirm.
Who sees my prices?
Every seller owns its own price lines and sees only those. The customer sees all lines and the total. Messages in a thread are visible to everyone on that thread.
Your account and emails
Which emails will I get?
Emails about your requests, quotes, payments, holds that are about to expire and events the next day. Some can be switched off in your notification settings. Emails about quotes, money and your support tickets are always sent.
Is there a chat or inbox?
No. There is no general chat. You can only message inside a booking or request thread. WhatsApp conversations stay outside the app; you can share a booking summary to WhatsApp.
Getting help
Something is wrong with my booking.
Open a support ticket and add the booking reference, which is the code at the end of the booking page address. We reply in the ticket and by email.
Is the app down?
Check the status page. It shows maintenance notices and whether the app can reach its database.
